App's Too Fast: How To Change The Pace For Better UX

Browsers && front-end technologies are incredibly powerful right now, and it’s put us in a new and weird spot: our apps can be too fast. Post app load, when things have settled a bit and the user starts making choices, instant changes are nice, but we can do better.

ABOUT ADAM

Seattle, U.S

Adam is a bright, passionate, punk engineer with an adoration for the web who prefers using his skills for best in class UI/UX and empowering those around him. He’s worked at small and large companies, and built an app for pretty much every screen (or voice). He is capable of over-engineering, but spends lots of brain power not. Loves CSS, loves JS, loves great UX.

Must haves for the workshop

Even with wording you can influence a user positively or negatively. "U must register before Vote" or. "Register before Vote"

Overlaying multi animations results in a very smooth result.

The user must feel that he has control over the application and not the application through the user.
